Mitya Kharshak Delivered a Lecture at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design

Mitya Kharshak, Head of HSE ART AND DESIGN SCHOOL in Saint Petersburg, presented a lecture on “Branding and Visual Communications of Cultural Institutions” at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design.

Working on the Israeli issue of PROJECTOR magazine brought Mitya many new friends in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Most of the designers and artists featured in the magazine graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Israel's foremost and oldest creative educational institution, which has achieved global renown. Over its more than one hundred years of existence, it has become not just an educational institution but a true source of inspiration and talent for many artists, architects, and designers in Israel and around the world.

Some of the designers featured in the Israeli issue of the magazine are still connected with the Academy through teaching. While preparing the magazine's publication, Mitya met with the heads of the undergraduate and graduate programs in Visual Communication. He presented HSE ART AND DESIGN SCHOOL and the master's program "Art Direction of Cultural Institutions" to Erez Gavish and Hagit Keysar, who then invited him to speak to the Academy's students.

"My lecture on 'Branding and Visual Communications of Cultural Institutions' has become a genuine international success. This academic year, I've already delivered it at seven different universities in five countries. The international case studies and examples from our studio portfolio presented in the lecture consistently generate significant professional interest among the audience. This time, the students' response exceeded my expectations. After the presentation, many approached me personally to express their gratitude, shake hands, and ask questions. Such lively reactions and expressions of gratitude are extremely meaningful to me. I'm confident that our partnership with the Academy is just beginning," Mitya shared.
