Indonesian student wins WOWMOSCOW 2024 Short Videos Competition

The winner of the International Competition of Short Videos about Cities WOWMOSCOW 2024

Indonesian student Takha Audyarahma has been announced as the winner of WOWMOSCOW, the International Short Video Competition about Cities, held as part of the forum and festival Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030. The results were revealed on August 15 during an official ceremony at the Cinema Museum at VDNKh.

Takha Audyarahma studies at the University of Surabaya, a partner of the HSE ART AND DESIGN SCHOOL St. Petersburg.

As the winner, she was given the opportunity to create a short film about Moscow with the support of a professional film crew. The film will be screened on August 24 at the Small Amphitheater in Zaryadye Park as part of the Moscow International Film Week.

The competition drew 294 project submissions from participants across 12 countries. After a competitive selection process, ten young filmmakers from India, China, Indonesia, Brazil, Iran, and Russia were invited to Moscow. There, they took part in a film workshop and a rich cultural and educational program, which included visits to key landmarks of the Russian capital.

Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030 is a forum and festival that highlights groundbreaking innovations shaping every aspect of urban life, open to both Moscow residents and visitors. From August 1 to September 8, more than 30 venues across the city are hosting cultural, sporting, educational, and other events focused on the evolution of one of the world’s most forward-looking megacities.
