Felipe Taborda to speak at the HSE ART AND DESIGN SCHOOL Campus in Nizhny Novgorod

On May 29–30, the new campus of the HSE ART AND DESIGN SCHOOL in Nizhny Novgorod will host an open lecture and a two-day workshop by Felipe Taborda, a renowned graphic designer and educator from Rio de Janeiro. He will discuss how ideas are born and demonstrate how a strong conceptual approach is key to creating impactful design.

His visit will feature an open lecture titled “Where Do Ideas Come From?” and a two-day workshop, “Making Music.” These events will also mark the symbolic launch of the new HSE ART AND DESIGN SCHOOL campus in Nizhny Novgorod, which will soon officially open its doors to students and guests.

HSE audiences were first introduced to Taborda’s work last November at the Design from Brazil poster exhibition. At that time, the Rio-based graphic designer addressed the guests online, sharing his professional journey and presenting his new book. Now, the design community in Nizhny Novgorod will have the opportunity to meet the acclaimed designer in person.

Felipe Taborda’s open lecture and two-day workshop will take place on May 29–30, 2026, at the new HSE ART AND DESIGN SCHOOL campus in Nizhny Novgorod (22 Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street).
