The students of the «Fashion» program will take part in a project by UNIQLO that is dedicated to relevant themes of sustainable production and the recycling of clothing. The results of this collaboration will be presented on November 16th as part of the ’Recycle day’ at the «Garage» museum in Moscow.
As part of Recycle Day, traditionally, there will be a presentation of the joint UNIQLO and HSE ART AND DESIGN SCHOOL project. The project is dedicated to the new life of old clothing items as a crucial aspect of sustainable fashion. The students create sustainable projects, some using items from the Uniqlo collection that were marked as ’unusable/unpresentable’, and were gifted to us as part of the collaboration.

Also, as part of Recycle Day, there will be excursions for the exhibition entitled «The Coming World: Ecology as the New Politics 2030–2100», a discussion «From private initiative to the construction of the social» ,a workshop about garbage sorting and a screening of the «Garbage» documentary.
The entrance is free. The excursion, discussion, workshop and film screening require a prior registration.
